so why face yoga?

So why did I choose Face Yoga?

We are incredibly lucky that today there are so many wonderful natural and medically advanced options out there for our skin. From creams and serums, make-up, beauty treatments, spas and supplements. The options are endless. For some it can be a little daunting, others love to pamper and try as much as they can!

I get excited to try new products, and I love to get beauty and wellness treatments and to strive to put the best nutrition in my body.

However, I have always felt that I had to work at keeping my skin healthy and clear. In my teens it was dealing with acne, in my twenties and thirties it was keeping my skin glowing and toxin free (those late nights out will cause havoc on your skin) and now into my forties fighting the first signs of aging. And I am still dealing with the acne outbreaks.

So finding the right products and treatments for my skin has always been a challenge. I think the common thought with acne is to try a harsh product to get rid of it quickly, but this can have the opposite effect. The skin becomes to dry and then produces more oils and it can become a vicious circle, With anti aging products, they can sometimes be too rich (and cause an outbreak). So finding the products that suit my skin can be a challenge. A product / treatment that makes my skin feel super moisturized but not too greasy that it causes an outbreak. And I want that healthy radiant glow!

I was always on the look out for something that would keep my skin healthy, clear, help open pores, and was inexpensive, natural, and enjoyable, and that’s when I came across Face Yoga. It felt so good to be able to give myself a little self care time whilst doing the techniques and I really started to see the benefits in my skin. The exercises were helping my face look more lifted, the massages were keeping my skin more defined and not so puffy, the acupressure was helping with my stress and insomnia, the relaxation techniques were good for those over worked muscles and just trying to generally be more healthy can only be a good thing.

Friends started to compliment me on my ‘glow’ and I knew that it must be working.

Of course I am going to continue to get break outs and I will continue to age which is only natural but with a little self love and care I can continue to be the best version of myself! Oh, and I still LOVE trying out new products and treatments to pamper myself. I don’t think my passion for that will ever change.
